We won’t stop Demonstrating until Akuffo Addo changes -Otukornor

Akuffo Addo

Peter Boamah Otukonor, deputy national secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and member of Arise Ghana, said they would pursue the Akuffo-Addo administration until it fixes the country’s economic difficulties.

The government won’t achieve peace until President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo adjusts his ways, he added.

We will protest until Akufo-Addo changes. If he wants peace, he should restructure his economy, he said.

Speaking to the media on the second day of the Arise Ghana ‘Kurom Ay3 Hye’ rallies on June 29, 2022, he said the nation would bounce back under the next NDC government if the present administration fails to rescue the current challenges.

He said their demonstration was meant to force the government to hire jobless youngsters and solve economic issues.

“Change is coming; if not under Akuffo-Addo, then under the NDC.

“We want employment, the people want jobs; give them jobs, obtain peace.” He continued, “If he can’t lead the nation, he should retire.”
