1st Division Clubs to get $7500 out of $1.8m is unfair: Jojo Duncan

The Ghana Football Association announced on Wednesday the allocations to the various beneficiaries of the Covid 19 Relief Fund provided by FIFA.

First Division clubs were allocated $75,000 for the first round of disbursement but the Bank roller of Proud United disagrees with the amount given.

“It is very unfair for 1st division clubs to be given $7500 out of $1.8m”

“Let’s not create the impression that the 1st division isn’t important because they are the same clubs that qualifies to the premier league and the margin is too wide” Mr. Duncan told Spice FM in Takoradi

The Ghana Football Association agreed to share monies received as COVID-19 relief fund to clubs following a meeting on Tuesday,
Premier League clubs will receive $15,000 with Division One clubs taking $10,000. GHALCA will receive $2,000.

Proud United will celebrate its 25 years of existence this year and plans are underway to make it a memorable one.
