NOTORIOUS FLAT SCREEN THIEF IN SEKONDI TAKORADI EXPOSED BY CCTV FOOTAGE

Close Circuit Television Footage (CCTV) has captured a young man who has been stealing from homes in the Effia-Kwesiminstim Muinicipality of the Western region

The Culprit has been apprehended   by the Kwesimintsim District Police Command and Charged by the Old Accra station District Magistrate Court.

The bandit, Isaac Aidoo, 22 is a notorious criminal, specialized in the stealing of flat screen television sets from the homes of his victims.

His current crime involves the stealing of a 55-inch Protech and a 75-inch Samsung flat screen television sets, amounting to GHC 51,000 and belonging to one Julius Baidoo at Kingsberuy in Anaji. He subsequently sold them to Lawrance Odoom at Effiakuma Zongo for an amount of GHC 4,000.

According to footages produced by the CCTV storage, Isaac Aidoo used a period of 1-hour 30mins to commit the offence. He then went into his hideout at Ewusiejoe in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region where he was arrested.

At a court proceeding presided over by his Majesty Michael Amoadu, Isaac Aidoo pleaded guilty to the offences of stealing and unlawful entry. He was handed over, 22 and 23 months to be served concurrently for his crimes.

Lawrence Odoom on the other hand has been granted bail in the sum of gh 30,000 with 3 sureties
