Media Advised To Be Circumspect In Their Report On Interdiction of Fijai HeadMaster

The Western Regional Education Director, Felicia Agyeibea – Okai has advised the media to be circumspect in their reportage about the interdiction of the Fijai Headmaster.

In an interview with Kwame Offie on Spice FM, Madam Felicia Agyeibea – Okai mentioned that the Ghana Education Service, GES has not been faulted in any way as people are speculating.

According to her, the Service is being proactive about the issue, and it is only appropriate that the individual at the centre of the matter steps aside for investigations to be conducted.

Madam Agyeibea-Okai remarked that when investigations are concluded, the outcome would be made public.

” I don’t think Management has breached any Convention. The convention says if there is something going on, the person at the centre of the issue steps aside for investigations to take place. It looks like the matter is being blown out of proportion.

But on the news, there is a lot of misinformation. So I think GES IS being proactive and not reactive by asking him to step aside for a while,” Madam Agyeibea Okai said.
