Akufo-Addo optimistic about leaving Ghana improved in 2025

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo expresses confidence that he will leave Ghana in an improved state by the time he hands over in 2025.

He emphasizes his commitment to building a prosperous nation and enhancing the living conditions for all citizens. Addressing the annual Jubilee House thanksgiving service in Accra, the President anticipates growth and prosperity for Ghana in the coming year.

He acknowledges that achieving this goal requires both political understanding and divine guidance.

Additionally, President Akufo-Addo calls on Ghanaians and relevant stakeholders to collaborate in ensuring fair and transparent elections in 2024. Emphasizing the importance of viable elections in functional democracies, he urges all citizens to prioritize respecting the rules and regulations governing the electoral process.

In a national address on the 30th anniversary of the 4th Republic, the President stresses the need for collective efforts to strengthen Ghana’s democracy and maintain its position as a model of democracy in Africa.

He emphasizes that respecting election outcomes, regardless of winning or losing, is crucial for the legitimacy of the electoral process and the overall peace and stability of the nation.
