Celebrated Ghanaian blogger and CEO of GBInteractive, Media maven George Britton has debunked rumors about his parting ways with his Talent Camidoh.
In various Facebook posts sighted by Beachfmonline.com in the early hours of today, January 31,2023 were allegations of the separation between Afrobeat singer Camidoh and his Manager George Britton
Speaking in an exclusive interview on the scoop an entertainment News segment on Beach 105.5 with Richard Wolley and Ahanta Bread, George Britton revealed that he is still working with the singer.
According to him, the brand has grown big with other people assigned to other tasks.
“ the fact that you don’t see me with Camidoh here and there, during his interviews and at events doesn’t mean we’re not working together. I think I will have to do a video or take a picture with Camidoh for you all to see before you believe“ he said.
He however added that they are currently working on a new project which will be out soon.
Mr. George Britton officially began managing Camidoh in 2020 and they released a six–track EP titled Contingency Plan(C.P.) which was later nominated for the Album of the Year at the Entertainment Achievement Awards organized by Citi TV online.
Camidoh released his single Sugarcane in December 2021. The song began to gain popularity when Ghanaian TikTok creators used it in their videos as promotion. The song ranked fifth among the top 200 most searched Afropop songs on Shazam. On 8th April 2022, he released Sugarcane Remix featuring King Promise(Ghana), Mayorkun(Nigeria) and Darkoo(United Kingdom). The collaboration peaked at number one on Nigeria’s Top 100 Music Chart on Apple Music in the first week of May, barely a month after its release.
