Hundreds of people flood the GRA office in Takoradi each day to obtain the Tax Identification Number (TIN).
Introduces in 2017, the Tax Identification Number has now become a major medium for persons and organizations to transact business.
Here in the western region the offices of Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in recent time has been the busiest place as hundreds of people trop in every minute to register for the Tax Identification Number since TIN is required in doing simple business in Ghana now.
The Western Regions Public Relations Officer for GRA Mr. Charles Forson told Business Today the its been encouraging with the turn of event as many people seams to understand the importance of have a TIN.
According to Mr. Forson the only challenge confronting GRA is the availability of stable network to facility the registration process thus the untimely delay that client would always have to endure in the various offices here in the western region.
He stressed that its totally free to obtain the Tax Identification Number and called on all persons to report any officer of the GRA to demands money before registration.
