Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, First Lady, has wished all students preparing to start the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) on Monday June 4, the very best, and God’s guidance throughout the examination period.
She has also urged them to stay calm and to believe in themselves and most importantly, avoid any examination malpractice that could land them into trouble.
She said the examinations, being the first major exams, for the final year students in Junior High School was very important as it was the only means of qualifying to gain admission to secondary school.
In a message to the students, Mrs Akufo-Addo also encouraged parents and guardians to eliminate distractions for the children, as they got ready to sit for the exams.
“I wish you the very best and humbly ask God to guide you throughout the week as you prepare”.
“Do finish your exams successfully with the best results. May God continue to bless you all”.
