Head of Sports at Focus 1 media and host of Friday Night Football, Hans Mensah Andoh has joined the Multimedia Group in Accra after 5 years of service at Focus 1 Media Group.
A send-off party organised for Hans Mensah Andoh by Focus 1 Media Group on Friday confirmed that the MVP has switched camp to the multimedia group in Accra as a sports journalist.
Addressing employees and well-wishers who were at Focus 1 Media office to commemorate the transition of the MVP, General Manager of the media group, Kojo Amoako Nzoley congratulated Hans Mensah Andoh for his glorious movement to the multimedia group.
He commended the MVP for his contribution and selfless dedication to the Focus 1 Media brand.
Mr. Nzoley however entreated Hans Mensah Andoh to soar higher in his chosen career and make Focus 1 Media proud.
“We are actually loaning you to multimedia for you to learn more. Since we are expanding to other parts of the country we will surely come for you at the right time”, he added.
Hans Mensah Andoh joined the media group as a sports journalist on Radio Maxx, which was then under the management of Focus 1 Media in April 2013 and was the host of Maxx Sports Arena, Total 90 and Premier League Live.
At the beginning of 2017, he was switched to Beach 105.5 FM as host of Friday Night Football and Premier League Live. He was also the head of the group’s online and social media team.
As a regular feature on GHOne’s Monday Night sports program “The Game”, Hans Mensah Andoh was once part of the team of pundits who featured on Super Sport during the South African broadcaster’s engagement with the Ghana Premier League.
His recent passion in writing about boxing has carved a niche for him as an excellent boxing writer with his preview of the Fight of the Century between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio earning rave reviews and also served as expert analyst on various media platforms for both local and international boxing.
Hans Mensah Andoh will be working on the Joy platforms (Joy 99.7 fm, Joy News and Myjoyonline.com).
