Effia-Kuma, Kwesimintsim and Sekondi to benefit from Zongo Trust Fund

The Ministry of Inner City and Zongo Development has established a partnership deal with Wembley Sports Construction Limited which will see Inner Cities and Zongo Communities in Ghana benefiting by way of sports infrastructural development and others.
The Minister of Inner City and Zongo Development, Alhaji Abubakar Saddique and Chief Imam, Sheik Osman Nuhu Sharabutu led a team of officials from the two parties to cut the sword for what will be a nationwide benefit for Inner City and Zongo Communities.
The partnership between Ghana and the England-based company tipped off last week at the Zurak Park, Madina, Accra in the La Nkwatanang-Madina Municipal Assembly(LADMA) where the pitch when completed will have a an artificial pitch, changing rooms, washrooms and floodlight.



Per reports Hon. Alhaji Abubakar Saddique have already met the leadership of the Zongo communities and Inner-Cities and have firmed up discussions as to how these Communities in Sekondi-Takoradi are going to benefit from the partnership.
The Member of Parliaments for Madina[Hon. Alhaji Abubakar Saddique] told press during the cutting of sword at the Zurak Park – “this project is part of the many development programmes that have been lined up for Inner-City ad Zongo Communities and so I urge all of you to own the project, support the contractors and the Ministry to ensure its successful completion.”
Sekondi-Takoradi have lost a number of recreational places to roads and other projects. The youths have on many occasions bemoan the unavailability of better sporting facilities to unearth talents.
